| "I will not tolerate those abominations on our Christmas tree, Lupin!"
"Severus." A long suffering sigh. "You didn't want to have a Christmas tree at all. So now you don't get to decide what it'll look like."
A sneer. "This tree disfigures my sitting room. I do not see why I should have to endure this abhorrence when it was unwelcome in the first place."
"It's Christmas. A bit of holiday cheer wouldn't kill you." Blinding smile.
Crossed arms. "If you say so."
"What about a compromise? If we put up cauldrons as decorations, can I keep my dog bones?"
